I had fun at prom, I also went with an underclassman. I've always had a thing for younger girls I guess. In the pictures I look like a Foo because I had hair, was FAT, and had hair. I believe I was the only one of "the guys" who didn't get any on prom night. I think my Mom is the only person who still has a picture. I'll have to see if I can round it up for a laugh.
Incidentally, Mel- If we were at the same prom, we could have "Dirty Danced" we haven't done that in SSSOOOOO long! I miss ya!

My junior prom involved a car accident. Minor bump in the rear but my then boyfriend (who was obsessed with his car) got out in the middle of town and began cussing out the guy behind us. As he is using every word in the book, my dad who happened to be working at a shop in town came out of the store to see what it was all about. Nice that his little girl all dressed up is dating a trucker! We then spent the first 2 hours of prom in the main office cause they wouldn't release us until they got a hold of all our parents. Mine decided not to be reachable. I had to wait in the office for another hour and a half by myself. No my "boyfriend" didn't wait with me. Way too good for that. Good times!

My senior prom was on my 18th birthday. I asked this totally hot guy I worked with to go with me. We went out ONCE before prom to get his tux (which I paid for since I asked him to go) and he took me to dinner at Baker's Square. (HEY BIG SPENDER!)
We spent 45 minutes of uncomfortableness making idle chitchat. I didn't talk to him again until prom. He came to my house and my mom took a picture. In the shot, he is staring at my boobs.
When we got to prom, he told me he didn't dance. I got up to go to the bathroom and when I came out, he was dancing with another girl who was there. He ended up going home with her.
The next day, as I was getting ready to go to Cedar Point (amusement park) - a tradition at our high school - the son of a bitch pulled in the driveway. He said, "I'm ready!" The bastard blew me off on my birthday AND prom night, and then showed up for a free C.P. ticket.
Me, him, and two of my friends ended up going because one of them wanted to "do it" with him. But I insisted he drive. The 4 of us stood in line for the Bluestreak Rollercoaster - first ride when you get in the park - and just as we were about to enter the ride, they shut it down due to a monsoon.
It poured for the next several hours, and the bastard wouldn't let us sit in his camero because we might ruin the seats. We had to sit in the pavillion and dry off first.
That was the last time I ever spoke to that little shithead. I don't know if my friend ever hooked up with him - we lost touch after that magical weekend.
Nonetheless, I hope that his dick falls off!

I went to 3 proms...
The first was with a friend of mine (Nate S.) who was a senior (I was a sophomore). All of his friends (who incidentally had girlfriends) were going and urged him to ask me since we were friends. He had a cool old car and we had a nice innocent time (fun guy, not attractive). I'm pretty sure we went to Cedar Point the next day...

Went to my junior prom stag w/a girlfriend of mine (Jamie B) because a) I was on prom committee and wasn't about to not see my hard work and b) I had recently started dating someone (John) who unfortunately already had a date prior to us getting together and I went to torment her. Only ok.

Went to senior prom w/John (see jr. prom), Patrick, Maija, Rosa, Christy, Dave & Kirstin and had a blast!! Totally one of my favorite weekends of all time. Went to prom, had a bonfire afterwards at John's, then I stayed at Maija's house (baby's namesake if it's a girl), went to Squire's Castle on Saturday afternoon, went to the wine and cheese fest at St. Anselm's in Chesterland Saturday evening (after trying to go to Geauga Lake thinking it was 1/2 price after 5pm...it wasn't), we all stayed a Patrick's Saturday night and I KNOW we went to Cedar Point on Sunday. There are a thousand funny stories from this weekend.

We had so much fun, we tried to duplicate the weekend (minus prom) the next year. Camped out near Cedar Point in the cold and rain and spent our day in the cold and rain at Cedar Point. Not quite the same as the previous year, but we still had fun.

Surprisingly, never drank before, during or after prom.

Yep our prom was on a Friday night. I had a big scab on my left hand fom the softball game the Friday before. (Still have the scar to prove it) Then, the Monday before prom, I was in a collision at home plate. Got a contusion in my lower leg and was on crutches that week. Ended up leaving the cruthces at home for prom, but couldn't really dance, b/c I was in too much pain.
Again, I shouldn't have agreed to go. I still have my dress though.

Ahh... Prom.. What a wonderful night... *Barf* I ended up going with an underclassman for my Senior prom. This was the 3rd dance I have ever gone to. 2nd with a date. Nobody that I ever cared about, just a friend so I wasn't alone. My date grabbed my ass before the pictures and I slugged him. I ended up hanging out with a now gay guy the rest of the night. What a waste that was.... I wish I hadn't gone.
